Red River National Wildlife Refuge is made up of four units in the Red River Valley in northwestern Louisiana. Red River NWR is located in the Red River Valley which historically was forested with bottomland hardwoods, cypress sloughs and shrub/scrub swamps, providing a variety of habitats for wildlife.
There are 7.2 miles of trails to explore. The trails are rated as easy and good for kids and dogs. Pets must be on leash at all times and please pick up after them.
