Tunica Hills WMA Trail C
St Francisville, LA is a wonderful area for lots of different activities. Just north of here on Hwy 66 you'll find the rolling hills of the Tunica Hills Wildlife Management Area. Once you enter the Tunica Hills WMA you will find several interesting trails.
You'll find a map for the entire trail system at the kiosk. There is a large parking lot at the trailhead for Trail C and Trail B (nature trail).
This is one of the most geologically unique areas in our state and is great for outdoor adventures. This hike is pretty diverse with level road beds, steep decent down some hills, and a stretch through a bayou. This can be challenging at time due to the up and downs.

There are lots of posts that keep you on the trail and even have markings that correspond with the map (at the kiosk) to let you know where you are on the trail.
After you spend some time in a bayou, you will find the last part of the hike on wide open trail that used to be an old road.
As you make your way back to Old Tunica road you will turn right and do a short road walk back to the trailhead parking lot. This hike can be challenging for some due to the steep climb down into the bayou. Other than this you should find this trail to be quite relaxing.
